C connectors are medium size connectors intended for use with .350 to .450 diameter coaxial cables. San-tron also makes versions that will accept cables ranging from .206 to .545 in diameter. Featuring a quick disconnect bayonet locking coupling mechanism they are similar in size to N connectors but utiilize overlapping dielectrics for longer breakdown paths. They are 50 ohm constant impedance connectors, operate from DC to 11 GHz, and are weatherproof. Unless otherwise noted all San-tron C connectors are nickel plated and have silver plated center contacts. They are also available in other finishes such as silver or Albaloy and with gold plated center contacts. All San-tron C connectors will mate with connectors and adapters which have MIL-STD-348 C interfaces.
